Noble House Leisure (NHL) take advantage of CIBER’s 20 years’ experience and proven, web-based technologies.

Noble House Leisure (NHL) the managed operator of 39 restaurants and bars such as Yellow River, Arbuckles, Oriental Restaurants and Jim Thompson’s, first moved their payroll administration to a traditional bureau operation some years ago.

However after taking a long hard look at its existing supplier, the company concluded that it was too costly, used old technology and was not adding value to the business.

So it took the strategic decision to find an alternative solution, one that would meet their needs and deliver real service at a fair price. This resulted in NHL changing providers to take advantage of CIBER’s 20 years’ experience of supporting licensed leisure operators, and CIBER’s proven, web-based technologies which simplify data input for busy unit managers.

NHL brought in CIBER’s IPPM-qualified payroll consultants to conduct a comprehensive audit of the payroll procedure. As a result, CIBER UK produced a more efficient payroll procedure, with detailed processes for each stakeholder, and recommendations for disaster recovery.

Four months into the partnership, Head Office no longer employs dedicated payroll expertise – saving costs and freeing up Finance resources to concentrate on other core activities. Unit Managers now have online access to their own payroll enabling resolutions to local queries or if necessary, the can access professional payroll advice from their nominated Ciber payroll administrator.

HR is the next step, integrating the entire estate (monthly & weekly paid employees) into one database to automate the existing manual processes for recruitment, training, discipline, etc.
