CIBER Takes the Lead on Microsoft
Dynamics AX V4 Certification as Official Launch Champion for Microsoft
Dynamics AX V4
CIBER has become the first Microsoft Partner in the UK to achieve
Partner Launch Champion status for Microsoft Dynamics AX V4 after
investing in additional training and leading the movement by being
the first UK partner to undertake and pass the special certification
for Microsoft Dynamics AX V4.
Richard Guga, Microsoft Dynamics AX Product Manager of Microsoft
UK said “The UK Microsoft Dynamics AX team would like to congratulate
CIBER for becoming the first partner organization to achieve Dynamics
AX4.0 Launch Champion Status here in the UK. The Launch Champion
designation provides CIBER with a unique ability to help its customers
realize the tremendous benefits of Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 as
an adaptable and global business management solution that helps
automate business-critical processes across one’s company
to fuel productivity and enable confident decision making”
The Partner Launch Champion status required far more than the rigorous
training and assessment that you would anticipate, to be a Launch
Champion a partner also needs to be able to demonstrate extensive
knowledge and experience of implementing other Microsoft products
including SharePoint, BizTalk and SQL Server 2005, something that
CIBER has extensive experience of.
With Microsoft Dynamics AX V4, partners now need to have in-depth
experience in the Microsoft “server” family of products
as Microsoft Dynamics AX V4 now uses these products as integral
components of the solution. For instance, SharePoint now replaces
the Enterprise Portal and SQL Server 2005 Report Builder can be
directly invoked from within Microsoft Dynamics AX as the end user
reporting tool.
Achieving Partner Launch Champion is yet another first for CIBER
in its relationship with Microsoft. In the past 12 months CIBER
was also the first partner in EMEA to implement MS CRM V3; the first
to implement BizTalk 2006 anywhere in the world; and the first and
only UK Partner to achieve Certification for the new Advanced Projects
functionality available for Microsoft Dynamics V3 and V4 as part
of the Microsoft Industry Builder Initiative.
CIBER will be involved with the official launch of Microsoft Dynamics
AX V4 in Boston, USA on Monday 10th July, 2006 hosted by Steve Ballmer,
CEO of Microsoft and also in an ongoing round of events and activities
here in the UK.
As official Partner Launch Champion, CIBER will also be involved
in activities relating to the forthcoming releases of Office 2007
and Windows Vista.
