New Product Introduction and Lifecycle Management
Collaborative Projects
The CIBER i-App for Collaborative Projects utilises the cProjects
tools from mySAP PLM to enable employees to work together, to innovate,
share knowledge and track progress. With cProjects you can handle
the entire range of project activities from planning through execution
and closing of the project.
New Product Definition
The CIBER i-App for New Production Definition utilises the SAP
composite application (SAP xPD) to assist businesses to efficiently
convert ideas to innovative products.
The application accesses and unifies data from a spectrum of systems,
allowing a business to ensure that the best concepts move through
prototype and are continually evaluated to match overall business
strategy.
Impact Analysis and Engineering Change Management
The CIBER i-App for Impact Analysis and Engineering Change Management
has been designed to extend the current SAP capabilities to a new
level. The solution strengthens the integration of Engineering Change
and introduces Impact Management functions across the standard SAP
ERP processes and data for existing products. It assesses the impact
of the change, including costs, across the supply chain processes
covering Sales, Delivery, Planning, Production, Procurement, Quality
Management and Projects and encompasses both Master Data and Transactional
Documents.
Portals
Basic Portal implementation
This CIBER i-App is the first step towards a fully functional enterprise
Portal. The Basic Portal Implementation provides a flexible, reliable
and secure solution giving a role-based Web interface. The Portal
infrastructure will act as a launch pad to your back-end SAP systems,
utilising Single-Sign-On functionality. Once the SAP portal platform
is installed and implemented all that is needed to access the Portal
is a standard browser on the desktop.
Portal Enhancement
The CIBER i-App for Portal Enhancement allows a business to take
advantage of all of its information assets, integrating data from
other sources into a role-based portal. This service provides integration
with groupware such as Microsoft Office, access to news item feeds,
other knowledge management content and facilities for collaborative
working utilising SAP cfolders.
System Optimisation
Data Archiving
The CIBER i-App for Data Archiving improves system performance
by moving redundant application data attached to completed business
transactions into a separate and secure optical storage system.
As well as improving system performance, successful archiving eases
system administration tasks, defers the need for additional hardware
and facilitates faster back-up and disaster recovery. The Data Archive
service is particularly recommended prior to system upgrades.
Upgrade Service
The CIBER i-App Upgrade Service is a fast and effective way of
completing a technical upgrade. The service is provided in two distinct
and independent phases. Initially a quick upgrade evaluation which
identifies any customer specific modifications and enhancements
with a report that includes a high level upgrade plan. The Second
phase is an Upgrade Execution Service to complete the technical
upgrade conducted by Basis experts.
Solution Manager Installation
The SAP Solution Manager is a platform that provides the integrated
content, tools and methodologies that you need to implement, support,
operate and monitor your SAP solutions.
CIBER’s Solution Manager Installation service provides you
with the base installation of Solution Manager, so you can then
utilise those features most applicable to your solution and current
SAP project status.
